ASCA, Fitter and Faster Release 2023 Top 50 Age Group Coaches
The American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) and Fitter and Faster jointly announced the top 50 age-group coaches in the United States for the year 2023. These coaches have been recognized based on the National Rankings of USA Swimming, which take into account both long-course meters and short-course yards data for the 9-10 and 11-12 age groups from May 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023. Bonus points were given to coaches whose swimmers had achieved the No. 1 national rankings, as well as coaches with multiple ranked swimmers. The selected 50 coaches represent 27 different Local Swimming Committees (LSCs) across the country.
Among these top coaches, a national Fitter & Faster/ASCA Age Group Coach of the Year for 2023 will be chosen and announced at the ASCA World Clinic in Dallas on September 7. The 10 finalists for the award will be revealed in July and will be recognized at the world clinic.
